Nature Camps
Tuition: $280/week; $50 deposit required to reserve spot. Sibling discount $25 per family.

Location: Carolina Beach State Park
Join us for an entire week of river exploration. Learn to use cast, seine and hand nets, safely catch and release wildlife, discover river to sea connectivity, and explore tidal botany and ecology. With daily games, songs, stories, and crafts, campers are sure to develop lifelong friendships!
WEEK 2: Survival Skills *Wait List*
June 13-17 | 8:30am-12:30pm | Ages 6-12
Location: Carolina Beach State Park
Learn to live off the land in this fun-filled nature challenge. We'll pretend to "get lost" and learn the basics of safe fire-starting, wild edibles, shelter building and more! Daily games, songs, stories and crafts included.

Location: Carolina Beach State Park
Explore and learn about the unique estuary habitat and maritime forest where the Cape Fear River meets the Atlantic Ocean. Make connections between land and sea, and learn to safely catch and release wildlife, all while developing friendships along the way! Daily games, songs, stories and crafts included.

Location: Carolina Beach State Park
Tap into your creativity with Mother Nature as your guide. Learn to make paint with natural pigments, practice leaf embroidery, work with clay, and more! Daily games, songs, stories, and exploration included.
Arboretum Camp
Location: New Hanover County Arboretum
Tuition: $220; $50 deposit required to reserve spot. Sibling discount $25 per family.

Learn all about the fascinating life cycle of plants in this playful, hands-on nature camp. Topics include soil and composting, earthworms, seed planting, garden care, native plants, birds and pollinators! Daily activities include crafts, stories, songs and games!
Farm Camps
Location: Seahorse Stables - Just north of Carolina Beach off Hwy 421

Learn all about the fascinating creatures that play a role in our farm ecosystem: pests, pollinators, worms, chickens, horses and more! Daily activities include egg collection, gardening, tidying the barnyard, feeding the animals, crafts, games and water play!
WEEK 2: Pirates & Mermaids Camp *1 spot left*

This water themed camp will be all about adventure while also learning about our local waterways, aquatic animals, and more! Additional activities include animal care, forest exploration, crafts, games and water play!

Payment and Cancellation Policy
$50 nonrefundable deposit due to secure your child's spot in the camp session.
Cancellation requests must be made on or before May 15, 2022 in order to receive a full refund minus the deposit. Any cancellation requests made after May 15, 2022 and up to two weeks before the start of camp will be refunded in the form of a Nature Connect credit to use on a future program. Cancellations made less than two weeks before the start of camp will not receive a refund or credit.
If Nature Connect cancels a camp session for any reason, you will receive a 100% refund.
Please understand that our camps are kept small to facilitate learning, and many fill up quickly. Last-minute cancellations keep other kids from enjoying our camps. Thank you for your understanding.
If your child is unable to attend camp, please consider converting all or part of your registration fees into a donation or scholarship to assist families in need.
